Developing positive approaches when working with people with brain injury who have challenging behaviour.

 This 3.5 hour practical session will provide participants with an understanding of:
 

  • what challenging behaviour is
  • the internal and external factors that may contribute to challenging behaviour.
  • the relationship between damage to the brain and challenging behaviour
  • a framework for developing strategies
Who is it for: 

This session is for participants who:
-          Have a basic introductory understanding of brain injury
-          May be working with people with brain injury through any cause
-          Wish to explore ways of working with people with challenging behaviour
