Sexuality after Brain Injury

Raising awareness of the issues relating to sexuality for people with brain injury their family and support networks.

 This 3 hour practical session will provide participants with an understanding of:

• issues relating to sexuality in people with brain injury.
• recognition of verbal and non-verbal component of communication and sexuality.
• Recognition of sexual needs and rights of clients and understand professional boundaries.
• effective ways of responding to inappropriate sexual behaviour.
