DisAbilityconnections (Victoria) - formerly the Western Region Disability Network (WRDN) is a network of nearly 1000 people with disabilities, their carers/families, service providers, government and community. Membership is free to anyone who shares a passion for disability issues.
While the focus is on the Western and Northern suburbs of Metropolitan Melbourne others are invited to join. Open to all disabilities (including mental health) and age groups.

Described as providing health and medical information for consumers, and being quality assured by the Victorian Government (Australia) this site has a specific section on brain injury as well as covering many other health issues.

BIA is the national, peak organisation for Australia representing, through its State member organisations, the interests and needs of people with acquired brain injury, their families and carers. The site has links to each of the state groups and information and publications on many aspects of brain injury.
A service based in Victoria Australia that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people affected by conditions of the brain and providing support to their families. Primarily focused on people who have acquired brain injury after birth through both illness and accident.
The Brain Injury Association of Queensland assists people with an acquired brain injury, those with behaviour that challenges our understanding, their families and stakeholders. The site contains a range of fact sheets and information about brain injury and services available.

A service based in Victoria Australia that works with families and professionals dealing with acquired brain injury resulting from situations such as accidents or illness. Services include direct counselling services for families, consultation and training services for professionals and research on family adjustment to ABI.
Provides specialist services in alcohol and other substance-related brain impairment including neuropsychology, psychology, social work, community development and case management.
Provides a range of services for people with acquired brain injury including paediatric case management, community access programs, and an accommodation and support project.
